  • Non-Delivery of Work: If a freelancer fails to deliver the agreed-upon work by the agreed-upon deadline, a refund may be requested for the uncompleted work.
  • Quality of Work: If the work delivered does not meet the agreed-upon quality standards or project specifications, the client may request a refund or seek revisions. Refunds may be issued in cases of substantial non-performance by the freelancer.
  • Dispute Resolution: In the event of a dispute between a client and a freelancer, TaskMeNow.com may mediate the situation and issue a refund if it is determined that the freelancer failed to meet their obligations.

2. Refund Process

To request a refund, clients or freelancers must follow the steps outlined below:

  • Step 1: Request a Resolution
    In case of dissatisfaction with the work or project, the first step is to attempt to resolve the issue directly with the other party (the freelancer or client). Clear communication is encouraged to address any concerns regarding project milestones or deliverables.

  • Step 2: Submit a Refund Request
    If the issue cannot be resolved directly between the parties, a refund request can be submitted through TaskMeNow.com’s support system. The request should include detailed information about the project, including the reason for the refund, communications, and evidence (e.g., missed deadlines, incomplete work, or unmet expectations).

  • Step 3: Review by TaskMeNow.com
    TaskMeNow.com will review the refund request based on the information provided by both parties. We may ask for additional details to support the claim. The review process will consider the terms of the project, the work completed, and any communication exchanged between the client and freelancer.

  • Step 4: Refund Decision
    After reviewing the request, TaskMeNow.com will issue a decision. If the refund is approved, the amount will be refunded to the client via the original payment method, subject to the terms and conditions of the platform. If the refund is not approved, the client and freelancer will be notified, and the decision will be final.

3. Refund Timeframe

  • For Escrow Payments: If the project is funded via an escrow account, a refund will typically be processed within 5-7 business days after approval. The funds will be returned to the client’s original payment method.
  • For Dispute Resolution: In cases where TaskMeNow.com mediates a dispute, the refund process may take up to 10 business days, depending on the complexity of the case.

4. Non-Refundable Items

The following items are non-refundable:

  • Service Fees: TaskMeNow.com’s service fees are non-refundable. These fees are charged to cover platform maintenance, payment processing, and administrative costs.
  • Completed and Approved Work: Once the work is completed and approved by the client, the payment is considered final and non-refundable, unless a significant issue arises, such as fraudulent activity or breach of contract.
  • Deposits for Future Work: Any deposits made for future work or retainer agreements are non-refundable unless explicitly agreed otherwise in a separate contract between the client and freelancer.

5. Chargebacks and Disputes

If a client initiates a chargeback through their payment provider (e.g., credit card company or PayPal), TaskMeNow.com will investigate the situation. If the chargeback is found to be unjustified, the client may be subject to penalties, including account suspension or termination.

Freelancers who believe that a chargeback was initiated without proper grounds should contact TaskMeNow.com immediately to resolve the situation.

6. Refund Limitations

  • Refunds are only applicable for payments made through TaskMeNow.com’s platform.
  • TaskMeNow.com is not responsible for refunds or disputes related to payments made outside of the platform or for services not conducted through the official platform channels.
  • TaskMeNow.com’s decision regarding refunds is final and based on our internal review process.

7. Cancellation of Accounts

In the event that an account is suspended or terminated due to violation of our Terms and Conditions, no refund will be provided for outstanding payments, deposits, or service fees.
